“The need for speed” is cool, so is ” kick the tires and light the fires” And I agree with Jeff. If the Tom Cruise didn’t do such cool movies I wouldn’t see them either. Face it mission impossible would be cool even if Keunu Reeves did it.

My wife and I are laughing at your movie catch up stuff - awesome! And you’ve picked one of the most quotable “guy” movies of all time . . . Here’s the question - when you watch it, can you try to figure out whether or not the “hard deck” is something they’re supposed to stay above or below - we always wonder about the wording they use . . .

Great movie choice! I agree with some people on here, saying Tom Cruise is in some sweet movies or else, I wouldn’t really care for watching anything with him in it. And Mission Impossible I don’t think would have been as cool with Keanu Reeves in it, haha, sorry.

For a change in normal motives, I think the next time I plan on getting a girl to notice me, maybe I’ll tell her she has lost that loving feeling haha. I love that part.

I LOVE this movie. One of my favorites of all time. I gotta watch it again. And about Karate Kid: (sorry about the late comment. I’m playing catch up) I think I had a mega crush on Ralph Macchio. Then I saw him live in the musical “How to Succeed in Business” and my crush dissipated on the spot. He’s only cool when he’s single and bare handedly chopping ice blocks in half.

I don’t know Brody, you might lose Kristin to Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer in the volleyball scene. yum, yum

Man I love that movie

I was in Publix one day last year when an entire frat walked in in the classic white t-shirt/blue jeans/aviators and began to serenade one of the female cashiers with “You’ve Lost that Lovin’ Feeling.” One guy did the lead, and the whole frat backed him up with harmonies and everything. It was pretty impressive haha.
I have a friend who is on UF’s synchronized swimming team, and their routine last year was to a Top Gun soundtrack medley.

It’s a classic.
